Madasha waxaa soo qabanqaabiyay Bay Women Association iyo Wasaaradda Qorsheynta iyo Maalgashiga Koonfur Galbeed Soomaaliya (KGS), iyadoo maalgelisay Hay’adda Diakonia. Kulanka waxaa kasoo qeyb galay hay’adaha maaliyadeed, bangiyada, iskaashatooyinka iyo hay’adaha Microfinance.

Hogaan Microfinance waxaa go’an taageeridda ganacsatada, kobcinta adeegyada maaliyadeed iyo ballaarinta fursadaha maalgelinta, gaar ahaan haweenka iyo ganacsiyada yaryar.

We are proudly participated in the Inclusive Finance in Somalia’s Livestock Sector (IFSLS) program for Risk Sharing Mechanism Workshop, organized by Mercy Corps in Mogadishu.

The workshop attended together with financial institutions, development partners, regulators, and other key stakeholders to discuss innovative approaches to reducing financing risks and expanding access to Sharia-compliant finance for Somalia’s livestock sector and MSMEs.

𝐇𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 is proud to participate in the 4-Day Training of Trainers (ToT) on Agricultural Finance and Financial Product Design in Baidoa.

This training strengthens our capacity to develop innovative, Sharia-compliant financial solutions that support farmers, agribusinesses, and rural communities across Somalia.

The successful candidates will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, promoting financial inclusion, and delivering high-quality, Shariah-compliant financial services.

The Relationship Officer will play a key role in client acquisition, portfolio growth, customer support, and community engagement while ensuring excellent service delivery and adherence to Hogaan Microfinance's policies and Islamic finance principles.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Acquisition & Business Development
✅ Identify, recruit, and onboard new clients within the assigned branch catchment area.
✅ Promote Hogaan Microfinance's products and services to individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.
✅ Achieve branch business development and client acquisition targets.

2. Client Relationship Management
✅ Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
✅ Provide timely support and respond professionally to client inquiries and complaints.
✅ Conduct regular client visits and follow-ups to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

3. Credit & Financing Support
✅ Guide clients through the application process for Shariah-compliant financing products.
✅ Collaborate with Credit Officers in loan appraisal, disbursement, monitoring, and repayment follow-up.
✅ Ensure compliance with Hogaan Microfinance's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

4. Community Engagement & Market Development
✅ Represent Hogaan Microfinance in community meetings, business forums, and local outreach activities.
✅ Conduct market assessments and gather customer feedback to support product and service improvement.
✅ Promote financial literacy and increase awareness of responsible financial services within the community.

Qualifications & Skills
✔️ Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
✔️ Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in client relationship management, microfinance, banking, or financial services.
✔️ Knowledge of Islamic finance principles will be an added advantage.
✔️ Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and networking skills.
✔️ Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
✔️ Proficiency in Somali and good command of written and spoken English.
✔️ Willingness to travel within the assigned branch service area.

We were honored to participate in the Capacity Building Training for Licensed Non-Deposit Taking Microfinance Institutions (NDFIs) organized by the Central Bank of Somalia(CBS) in Mogadishu.
