Turning Shared Vision into Greater Access to Finance
Meaningful progress begins when the right people come together around a shared purpose.
On 6 August 2026, Midnimo Microfinance joined leading voices from Somalia’s financial and development sectors at the RSM Roadmap Roundtable Workshop in Mogadishu. The gathering created an important space for institutions to exchange ideas on improving the flow of finance to Somalia’s businesses and productive industries.
Discussions focused on developing a locally driven, Sharia-compliant model through which financial institutions can share lending risks. Such a model would give lenders greater confidence to serve entrepreneurs and enable more micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to access the financing they need to grow, create jobs and strengthen local economies.
For Midnimo Microfinance, participating in this conversation reflects our continued commitment to responsible finance, stronger partnerships and practical solutions that bring financial services closer to underserved communities and businesses.
