There is something so special about the heart of our Alberta communities. Whenever someone needs a helping hand, neighbors always step up. With National Non-Profit Day coming up on August 17th, I’ve been thinking a lot about the incredible local charities right here in our backyard that pour so much love, time, and dedication into helping others. I am apart of 100 Women Who Care, we get together Quartey, and listen to the hearts of organizations and vote on who will receive the nightly donation. Its even better when you show up with your friends.

Whether it’s supporting local food banks, youth mentorship programs, or shelter initiatives, these organizations do the heavy lifting to make sure no one in our community feels forgotten. Giving back isn't just about financial support; it's about showing up, sharing our time, and reminding one another that we are all in this together.
