I have some news that I’m incredibly proud to share.
On Wednesday night, Accurateli won the 2026 MFAA National Excellence Award for Support Service Provider - Small Company.
Many of you know me through Peasy, but you may not know that for the past three years, my Peasy colleague Ben Callaghan and I have also been building a technology company.
Accurateli was created to help brokers and lenders understand self-employed borrowers more quickly, accurately and consistently.
It has involved thousands of hours of work, countless early mornings, late nights and weekends, a very substantial personal investment and plenty of moments when the task ahead felt almost overwhelming.
So to stand on a national stage and have our work recognised by the mortgage and finance industry was a pretty emotional moment.
We built Accurateli because we are passionate about small businesses and believe business owners deserve a fair opportunity to have their circumstances properly understood when applying for finance.
What started as a way to improve our processes at Peasy has now become something we hope can help brokers, lenders and self-employed Australians across the country.
Ben and I could never have achieved this alone.
We owe an enormous thank you to our wives, Amanda and Jessie, our families, the incredible people who helped us build the platform, and the entire Peasy team, who made sure our clients continued receiving the service they deserved while we worked on this project.
This award belongs to all of them too.
We are unashamedly proud of how far Accurateli has come - and even more excited about what comes next.
