🍻 Friday Favorite: Afterglow Brewing

Some places just have a way of making you feel welcome the moment you walk in, and Afterglow Brewing is one of them.

Located in Norfolk’s Railyard District, this local brewery offers a great selection of craft beers and seltzers, plenty of space to spread out, and an atmosphere that feels relaxed and inviting. We especially loved visiting during their Tuesday night Bluegrass Jam. The live music in the background made the whole experience feel even more special.

Great drinks, good company, live music, and a place where everyone feels welcome. That’s a Friday Favorite in my book.

Friday Favorite: The Adventure Park ✨

One thing I wasn’t expecting was just how many trails and courses there were. From the ground, you really have no idea how much adventure is tucked away in the trees.

There are options for a wide range of ages and skill levels, so everyone can find a course that feels right for them. Between the climbing, balancing, ziplining, and obstacle challenges, it kept the kids engaged for hours.

I loved that everyone starts with a quick safety briefing and practice course before heading into the trees. It was a great way to learn the equipment, build confidence, and feel comfortable before the adventure began. 💛

Safe to say this won’t be our last visit. We’re already talking about coming back for one of their Glow in the Park nights. ✨

Just because you can qualify for a certain payment doesn’t mean you should. 💛

One of the biggest misconceptions I see is people focusing on the maximum amount they can be approved for instead of what actually feels comfortable for their life.

Because the best home isn’t always the most expensive one.

Sometimes it’s the one that gives you the space you need while still leaving room for vacations, date nights, sports fees, Target runs, and all the little things that make life enjoyable ✨

That’s why I like to look at the full picture.
