For homebuyers in Connecticut, programs are available to help bridge the gap with upfront costs.

Connecticut Housing Finance Authority offers mortgage financing options for eligible buyers, including 1st mortgage financing and a 2nd mortgage option that may help support down payment and closing costs, with specific limits and requirements.

In addition, CHFA offers an additional rate reduction for military members, police, teachers, veterans, and people with disabilities or disabled household members.
