🏡 The best time to plan for 2027? Before 2026 is over.

Great spending some time with Charlie Hall at Ziki Japanese Steakhouse in Annapolis, Maryland, discussing business strategy, goals, and how we’re preparing for the 2027 mortgage and housing market.

With the holiday season approaching, it’s the perfect time to get ahead, refocus, and plan how we can better serve our homebuyers and real estate partners.

Even better, we ran into fellow Fairway colleague Bryce Gallagher and had a great conversation about balancing professional growth with personal health and wellness.

🏡 Buying a home in Calvert County? You may have more negotiating power than you think! 👀

I'm tracking homes for sale across four Calvert County communities, and the differences are interesting!

📍 Chesapeake Beach: Nearly DOUBLE the homes for sale compared to last year.

📍 Lusby: Inventory is nearly DOUBLE, with over 100 homes available.

📍 Owings: Inventory is climbing FAST, creating more options for buyers.

📍 Huntingtown: Inventory is up slightly, but this market is holding steadier than the others.

💡 The takeaway? More homes for sale could mean less competition, better negotiating power, and opportunities for seller-paid closing costs.

But your buying strategy should depend on WHERE you're buying, not just what's happening across the county!

Wish I’d done this sooner!

After more than a year on John Maggio’s networking email list, I finally made it out to Networking in Annapolis at Della Notte Annapolis, and I’m so glad I did. It was a great room full of business owners sharing ideas and supporting each other.

This week’s topic was Transformational Change with Paul Iannacone of Advanced Coaching Trends (Advanced Coaching Trends). It was a real mindset shift, and I’m still thinking about it.

I also had a great lunch with Mindy (proud Boomer 😂) from Old Line Prime. If you haven’t heard of them, they sell premium beef from a local Maryland farm. It’s great for your own table or as a gift, and they ship nationwide.

Huge thank you to John Maggio of Hawk Marketing for putting this together. The group meets every Wednesday, and I highly recommend it if you’re a business owner in the area.
