As expected we saw the Bank of Canada increases the over night lending rate by .25%. what's does this mean to you?

Anyone that has a variable rate mortgage (ARM - adjustable rate mortgage) you will see your payments increase by approx $14 per $100k mortgage amount.

Anyone that has a variable (VRM - variable rate mortgage - fixed variable) your payment won't change - you will now pay a little bit more towards interest.

Anyone with a HELOC ( home equity line of credit) your interest only payments will change.

If anyone that has a variable rate mortgage is concerned or confused how this will impact your payments - please don't hesitate to reach out!

Anyone that has a fixed rate - nothing changes at all for you
