This is not where Waffles planned to spend his weekend.

Waffles found a forgotten snack pack outside… and ate 36 raisins.

They rushed him to the ER, where his stomach had to be pumped. The vet said it was 6x the toxic level, and he had to be closely monitored for kidney issues.

Total bill? Over $2,000.

The good news: Waffles is in the clear and doing great. ❤️

The reality: accidents like this happen fast.

Raisins are something a lot of people don’t think twice about, but for dogs, they can be extremely toxic.

Thankfully, pet insurance made a really stressful situation a lot easier to navigate.
