Did you know your Medicare plan can change every single year? ๐ฌ
Every fall, your plan sends you something called an ANOC โ an Annual Notice of Change. It lays out exactly what's different for the coming year: your premium, your copays, your prescription coverage, even the extra benefits you count on. It's easy to set aside with the junk mail, but that letter is one of the most important pieces you'll get all year.
Here's what to do with it: pull it out, compare this year's plan to next year's, and make sure it still fits your needs. If it doesn't, you're able to make a change during the Annual Enrollment Period, October 15 through December 7.
If any of it feels confusing, that's what I'm here for. Feel free to comment below or send me a message โ happy to help you make sense of it.
