Definitely something important to keep in mind as we head into this year’s hurricane season! 🌀🌧️🏡 If a storm rolls in, being prepared ahead of time can make all the difference. Stay safe, stay ready, and have a plan in place!

It only takes one storm to make a hurricane season impactful. There have been strong landfalling storms during past El Niño years.

Hurricane Andrew was during an El Niño season that had just transitioned to neutral that August

El Niño suppresses storm activity due to stronger wind shear in the Atlantic Basin - but the risk is never zero.

While the overall pattern supports fewer hurricanes this season, plan & prepare like you would any other season!
