Today is not about the barbecue.
It’s not about the sales, the lake days, or the long weekend.

Memorial Day is about remembering the brave men and women who gave their lives so we could live ours in freedom. 🇺🇸

It’s about the empty seats at family tables.
The folded flags handed to grieving families.
The sacrifices made by heroes who never came home.

As we honor 250 years of this great nation, may we never forget that our freedom was paid for by generations willing to stand, serve, and sacrifice for something greater than themselves.

Today, I pause with a grateful heart for every soldier, sailor, airman, Marine, Guardian, and Coast Guardsman who gave everything for this country.

Because freedom is never simply given.
It is defended by courage, sacrifice, and love of country.

May we honor them not just with words today, but by living worthy of the freedoms they fought to protect.

God bless our fallen heroes, their families, and the United States of America. ❤️🤍💙
