✨ The power of collective giving in action ✨

Tonight, we had the privilege of hosting the 10x10 Philanthropy event 🩷. It has been a truly inspiring evening dedicated to connecting, listening, and supporting organisations making a real difference in our communities.

Our goal was to bring together passionate people with a shared purpose, and the response was incredible. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, a grand total of $17,400 was raised.

These funds will go directly towards supporting the vital work of three outstanding organisations:
💜 Trauma Aid Aotearoa
đź’ś Pivotal Point
💜 Women’s Shed Aotearoa

A huge congratulations to these three charities for the incredible work they do. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us tonight and contributed to making this evening such a success.

At Perpetual Guardian, we believe that when people come together to support local causes, meaningful change happens. Thank you for making tonight a resounding success!

Meet one of the charities taking the stage at 10Ă—10 Queenstown

— Pivotal Point Charitable Trust.

Think Dragons' Den — but with heart. Three charities. One room. The community decides where the funding goes. On the night, Pivotal Point will take the stage, share their story, and make their case.

Pivotal Point's vision is simple but powerful: every child should be able to access the help they need to reach their full potential at school — without finances getting in the way.

Come hear their story — and be part of the decision.

Also pitching on the night:
• Trauma Aid Aotearoa
• Women's Shed Aotearoa

Tickets are limited — secure yours now with a $100 donation and be part of a night of real, community-led giving.

Today marks World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
It’s a moment to recognise a reality that often goes unseen: the growing incidence of elder abuse—particularly financial abuse—across our communities.

In New Zealand, more families are facing situations where trust is compromised, whether through pressure within close relationships or increasingly sophisticated scams.

At Perpetual Guardian, we believe that true protection goes beyond good intentions.
It requires structure, transparency, and independence.
Tools such as an Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) can play a vital role in safeguarding individuals—but they also carry significant responsibility. Choosing the right person or independent professional to act on your behalf can make all the difference.

Today is a reminder to:
âś” Start open conversations with loved ones
âś” Plan ahead
âś” Seek trusted, professional support when needed
Let’s work together to protect the dignity, independence, and wellbeing of older New Zealanders.
