We're pleased to have reinstalled the defibrillator at our Cork branch. ❤ Unfortunately, the previous unit that was taken has not yet been recovered. As a potentially life-saving piece of equipment, we felt it was important to have a replacement installed as quickly as possible to ensure continued access for the local area.

During the week, we had a very special guest join us HSSCU High Street ... and he had four legs and a wagging tail! 🐕 Oscar, from My Canine Companion.

Needless to say, Oscar stole the show during his visit, and staff were delighted to meet him.

Earlier this year, we made a donation to the organisation, and as a result, they kindly offered to bring Oscar to HSSCU High Street. Thanks to the team for bringing Oscar in to say hi. The donations we make are all made possible by our members. ❤

HSSCU and Trinity Med Day Launch 25th Anniversary Partnership to Support Patient Care. 🤝

HSSCU is proud to be partnering once again with Med Day for the coming academic year. Here's to an exciting year ahead and to raising funds for some truly worthwhile causes.

Representatives from HSSCU were delighted to meet with Henry Li, MedDay Chairperson, at Trinity College Dublin to launch this partnership.

Through this annual fundraising initiative, now in its 25th year, a wide range of projects that directly improve patient care are supported. Everyone involved is committed to making this the most impactful year yet as a special milestone anniversary.

The 2026 beneficiaries include Our Lady's Hospice, St James's Hospital Dublin, and Tallaght University Hospital.

HSSCU is the credit union for those working in healthcare across Ireland, and we would welcome everyone involved to join and become a member.
