🏆 A WIGAN LEGEND – LET'S GET BEHIND HOWARD GALLIMORE! ❤️

This year, everyone at Wigan Accident Management Services (WAMS) is proudly backing Howard Gallimore for the People's Choice Award at the Wigan Business Awards 2026!

Howard is a true Wigan character who has spent over 50 years contributing to our local business community. From Kershaw's Seafoods to Mr Chips on Hallgate and the original Gallimore's Restaurant, he's certainly a familiar face to generations of Wiganers!

But it's not just his business achievements that make Howard deserving of recognition. It's the countless hours he's dedicated to local charities, supporting independent businesses, helping regenerate our town centre and simply doing his bit to make Wigan a better place for everyone.

He's one of those people who genuinely cares about his hometown, and we think it's about time he received some well-deserved recognition for everything he's done.

👏 From all of us at WAMS, we wish Howard the very best of luck! You've certainly got our vote!

❤️ Come on Wigan, let's get behind one of our own!

Please give this post a share, spread the word and help Howard get the recognition he deserves!

🐾 MEET RAMBO – WAMS HEAD OF COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT 🐾

For those who haven’t met him, this is Rambo, our highly experienced Head of Complaints at WAMS. 😎🐶

Unfortunately, business is a little slow in his department… he never has anything to do. 😂

So most days are spent sleeping on the job, demanding snacks, playing with his ball and generally contributing absolutely nothing to the running of the business.

We keep suggesting he transfers to Accident Management, but apparently that sounds too much like hard work. 🐾

Thankfully, the humans at WAMS have things covered. 🚗💥🔧

Accident? Bodywork? Insurance claim?
Give us a shout — and help us keep Rambo’s complaints desk empty!

💙💛 WAMS – You Bend ’Em, We Mend ’Em.

👇 Give Rambo a 🐾 in the comments if you think he deserves a pay rise…
(He’s currently paid in biscuits, so negotiations are ongoing.) 😂

🥊 THE BEST BACK THE BEST! 🥊

WAMS are proud to be sponsoring Dan McGraffin as he steps into the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship at the AO Arena, Manchester on Saturday 26th September! 👊🔥

We spend most of our days fighting insurers, repairing cars and getting motorists back on the road… but this time we’re backing someone who does his fighting in the ring! 😂🥊

Dan’s got the fists. 👊
We’ve got the bodyshop. 🔧
Either way, if something gets bent… WAMS knows what to do! 😂

We’re delighted to get behind a local fighter competing on one of the biggest stages in one of the fastest-growing combat sports.

💙💛 GET BEHIND DAN! 💛💙

Drop a 🥊 in the comments if you’re backing him, tag someone who’ll be watching, and give this post a share to help us show Dan some serious Northwest support!

And remember, when the fight is over and it’s your car that’s taken a knock…

WAMS – YOU BEND ’EM, WE MEND ’EM.
Supporting champions on and off the road.
