Today we’re celebrating our fantastic Finance Assistant, Leah!

Leah is an experienced and highly organised member of the Focal team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. From bookkeeping, VAT and ledger management to supporting our Financial Partners with management report preparation, Leah plays an important part in keeping things running smoothly.

She’s also currently working towards her AAT Level 4 qualification, so we’re excited to see what the future holds!

The clocks have changed!

The clocks have gone back, the evenings are getting darker and autumn is definitely here!

We’re enjoying that extra hour in bed while getting ready for shorter days, cosy evenings and the final stretch of the year.

Corporation tax penalties

A company tax return must be filed no later than 12 months after the end of the accounting period to which it relates. However, the corporation tax for that period is due earlier and must be paid by nine months and one day after the end of the accounting period.
