Head to Kielder Forest in Northumberland and take on the black-grade Deadwater Up and Over trail — 10.5 miles of climbing, technical singletrack and a summit at 1,900 ft before the ride back down.

Definitely one for experienced riders! … but on a clear autumn day, those views should make the legs forgive you. 🤣

The Highway Code has a heirachy of road users putting the greatest responsibility on those that pose the greatest risk. ⚠️

This, of course, doesn't mean we ignore our own individual responsibilities and throw common sense out the window … but it should make all of us think about safety on the roads. 🚴
