We’re proud to have donated over £12,970 to the County Air Ambulance Trust HELP Appeal through our Affinity Savings Account holders.

The HELP Appeal plays a vital role in funding NHS hospital helipads and supporting life-saving infrastructure projects for air ambulance services across the UK. Their work helps ensure critically ill patients can be transferred quickly to specialist care when every second matters.

Funds raised have supported projects including:
• New helipads at major trauma centres and A&E hospitals
• Emergency helipad upgrades
• Critical Care Cars and medical equipment
• A specialist weather station at Royal Stoke University Hospital to support emergency helicopter landings

Last week, we visited Your Emotional Support Service - YESS in Uttoxeter to donate £17,706 – made possible by our members.

YESS provides vital mental health support across Staffordshire, including services that combine talking therapies with creative approaches like art, drama and dance movement psychotherapy.

Demand is increasing at a time when funding is becoming harder to secure. That’s why contributions like this matter – helping them plan ahead and continue supporting people when they need it most.

Our purpose is to be a “force for good” – and this isn’t just a phrase for us, it’s embedded in how we work and the decisions we make every day, including support like this.
