Our Son will not receive his inheritance via a Will ….

How many of us believe that by making a Will it means we are ‘all sorted’ ?..

Worse still, how many people do not make a Will because they believe that everything will go ‘automatically’ to the kids?! ..

Terrifying.

By leaving your estate to your children via a Will, it means it is more likely at risk.

ATTENTION COUPLES - This one’s for you! 🏠

NEVER own your home JOINTLY with someone else! Why? ….

Because if you leave everything to your spouse/partner in your will and you die first, they then legally own 100% of the house.

If they remarry later on, or sadly end up in care, or change their own will to say the house is to go somewhere of their choosing and not yours - then 100% of the entire house could be lost before it is ever passed down to your children or chosen beneficiaries.

The worst part - I deal with ‘accidental Disinheritance’ all of the time, it is all too common.

So make sure you do something about it, and ensure at the very least, YOUR half of the home ALWAYS goes to your chosen people.

PART 2 - THE SOLUTION

Simply NEVER own your home in your personal names. Instead place it into YOUR Family Trust, that only YOU control. DO NOT appoint me, Silvergate or any other corporation as a ‘legal trustee’, ONLY appoint your kids or people you know & Trust.

Couldn’t be easier!

✅ Takes 10-12 weeks from start to finish.
✅ NOTHING changes after a Trust, you can still move, sell, downsize, etc.
✅ A new property simply gets placed into the existing Trust, no extra costs.
✅ Only YOU can change the trustees or beneficiaries.
✅ If done early enough, a Trust can never be contested or classed as ‘Deliberate Deprivation’.
✅ A Family Trust can last up to 125 years. So it really is future proofing your estate.

The ONLY downside to Trust work is; it’s costly.
