🏡 Mortgage jargon doesn't need to be complicated.
LTV means Loan to Value.
If you're buying a home for £200,000 with a £20,000 deposit, you'd need to borrow £180,000.
That means your mortgage would be 90% LTV.
Why does it matter? Your LTV can affect the mortgage products and rates available to you.
Sometimes the industry makes simple things sound complicated.
We'd rather you understood them.
