It’s a buyer’s market, and there are some great opportunities available right now, especially for first-time home buyers!

Why keep paying someone else’s mortgage when you could be building equity in a home of your own?

You may have more options than you realize:
✨ Borrowed down payment options may be available
✨ Buy with as little as the minimum down payment
✨ Access a 30-year amortization if at least one borrower qualifies as a first-time home buyer
✨ Withdraw up to $60,000 from your RRSP through the Home Buyers’ Plan and repay it over 15 years

And here’s something many people don’t know: you may qualify as a first-time home buyer again if you haven’t lived in a home owned by you or your spouse for the required four-year period or if you’ve recently experienced a marriage or common law relationship breakdown.

We attended National Bank’s broker channel launch event at the Fairmont Royal York last night, and it was a fantastic evening connecting with industry professionals and learning more about the opportunities ahead.

It’s exciting to see another financial institution expanding into the broker channel and bringing more options, flexibility, and solutions to better serve our clients.
