UNSW Aerospace Society - AIAA Student Branch We are the UNSW Aerospace Society, an AIAA Student Branch. We aim to connect students with each other and with industry through social and professional events!

AIAA UNSW is a student branch of the American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics (AIAA). The student branch is based at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. AIAA is the world’s largest technical society dedicated to the global aerospace profession. With more than 35,000 individual members worldwide, and 90 corporate members, AIAA brings together industry, academia, and gove

rnment to advance engineering and science in aviation, space, and defense. The student branch aims to promote AIAA within the university community and help facilitate links between professional industry and UNSW students.

It was fantastic to see so much creativity, teamwork, and engineering talent on display during the rocket challenge.

People get matched outside their major 👀
Aerospace engineers find their match. Designers develop their dream date. Educators date… whoever Cupid decides!

Contestants will take on themed challenges based on each other’s fields while the audience watches, votes, and decides the best couple of the night — with plenty of prizes to be won!
