🌸Phase 2: Complete! 🌿

The gardens are looking fab, and we're very happy with all the pops of colour (we recon the bees will be happy too!) 🐝It'll look even better when the plants fill in the beds a bit more.

We're also conscious of the predicted hot and dry season ahead. So Councillor Dr Rebecca Vonhoff you'll be pleased to know irrigation is connected to the tanks for early morning and late arvo watering, and everything has been generously mulched to help retain moisture and minimise water needs. 💧🙌

Also got a stack of pots ready to donate to Toowoomba Community Organic Gardens, who are busy organising their plant sale for the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers 🌿🪴

Next job on the list is window art! 🎨Then we'll be ready to welcome September! 🌸🌼🌺

PHASE 1 of carnival of flowers garden prep complete 🌱

Spring is right around the corner and we’re excited for Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers 🌸🌼🌿 This is when the Toowoomba Region really blooms!

And by "garden", we mean Kara spent the morning at The Springs Home & Garden and Cass weeds, plants, waters and mulches. 😂

Yesterday we tackled the garden beds around the office and we're back at it this morning to finish the final bed. Stand by for PHASE 2 updates!

Bowel cancer has touched Aberfeldy Barn and so, this cause is deeply personal to us.

On Sunday, 6th September, we’re opening our doors for Beef, Brews & Bros to raise vital funds for Bowel Cancer Australia, spark real conversations, and honour those impacted in our community. ❤️🌾

We’re pairing premium cuts, ice-cold brews, and great mateship on the Westbrook lawns to give Dad an afternoon he’ll love, while supporting a cause that genuinely saves lives.
