Last Friday was a little different from our usual workday โ we finally got together for our end-of-financial-year lunch at Numa Italian ๐ฝ๏ธ
With our teams working across different offices and everyone busy with their own work, it's not always easy to find the time to get everyone together.
And while not everyone could make it this time โ some had other commitments and some were on leave โ we were so glad to have everyone who could join us. We definitely missed those who couldn't be with us and hope to have everyone together next time.
What made the day special wasn't just the food. It was the conversations, the laughter and all the little moments in between.
Usually, we're busy talking about work, clients and deadlines. But this time, we got to know each other a little more โ talking about family, parenting, kids, weddings, pregnancies, pets, travel, interests and everything in between.
There was plenty of laughter too, and it's amazing how much you can learn about the people you work with when you take a moment to step away from the usual work routine.
Earlier this year, KLI welcomed a new bookkeeping business into the group, and this lunch was one of our first opportunities to bring more of our people together and get to know each other beyond our day-to-day work.
With our teams working from different offices, opportunities like this to meet, connect and build relationships are something we truly value.
Here's to more good food, more conversations, more laughter and many more KLI moments to come. ๐ฅโค๏ธ
