Sunshine Coast Hinterland Queenslander with paddocks and cows for neighbours.

Situated in Maleny in the 'dairy' hills of the Sunshine Coast hinterland, this c1910 federation-era Queenslander has been expanded into a now 7 bedroom and 3 bathroom, two-level home with the most wonderful rolling green outlook.

On Queensland Day, it doesn't get much more Queensland than a Queenslander in the most Queenslander area of Maryborough.

Situated in Torbanlea just north of Maryborough, this classic 1890s-era Queenslander classic exhibits that late-Victorian combined with early-Federation style.

Loving the verandahs and front entry, the combination of timber and pressed-metal ceilings, and gorgeous windows.

Standing the Test of Time - in Salisbury, Brisbane.

This magnificent late-Federation style home was built in the early 1920s as the "bungalow era" was taking-over house design in Brisbane.
Pictured here c1969, and again in 2017, the house had become quite run-down until a substantial restoration/renovation was completed in 2010.

Mountain-top Queenslander Living with Views for Days

Set on stunning Tamborine Mountain, inland from the Gold Coast and south of Brisbane, this renovated c1920 Queensland classic has an incredible outlook not only to Surfers Paradise but all the way to Brisbane CBD as well.

Loving the light and bright interiors with their period charm and modern make-over. And dining or relaxing with that view would never be a hardship.

Tamborine Mountain, Scenic Rim, Queensland.

Because we just love a modest house in the countryside...

The incredible 'Mona Vale' in Ross, Central Tasmania.
Built c1867 - and this photo taken c1886.

aka 'The Calendar House' - it is well known locally as the Calendar House for its reportedly 365 windows, 52 rooms, 12 chimneys and 7 entrances.
The house/mansion still stands today, and the property is on the Tasmanian Heritage Register and the Register of the National Estate (since 1978).

Queensland's most fantastically 'space age' house?

Situated in Karalee (City of Ipswich) just West of Brisbane, this house looks like a moon-base from a science-fiction production of the 1980s.
But inside is surprisingly homely and inviting!

Was this Brisbane's Craziest House?

'Victoria House' - Absolutely magnificent in its quirkiness, of course topped-off by the little cabin on the roof!

Unfortunately this famous abode went up in flames in June 1968 in a spectacular house fire that could be seen for miles!

Also known locally as the "Captain's House," "Wedding Cake House," or "Haunted House," it was built in 1882 for Jacob Pearen. The unique timber mansion featured a top-level cabin that sea captains reportedly used to look out for ships. The iconic local landmark was completely lost to a fire in June 1968.

'Toorak' in Hamilton, Brisbane. Built in 1871.

Stone block houses were built by the gentry of the colony, particularly prior to the 1880's. Later-on most 'distinguished' new homes were elaborate timber designs, with the proliferation of quality milled timbers, and of course great design.

Going Big and Bold in Hamilton

This historical-looking stately home was actually built in 2006 although it looks like a renovated late-Victorian home from the late 1880s.

Loving the front facade, lacework and entry, great formal rooms and views & pool area.

Hamilton, Brisbane, Queensland.
