🚨 Queensland Stamp Duty Changes from 1 August 2026

Temporary visa holders, including 482, 485, student and bridging visa holders, may no longer qualify for home buyer stamp duty concessions.

A $700,000 brand-new home could mean around $17,000 more in stamp duty after the new rules begin.

📅 The key date is the contract signing date, not settlement.
