Hi 👋, I’m Meghan McDonald, SVP and Sr. For more than 24 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping families achieve their dream of homeownership, closing over $1 billion in loans throughout my career. From my early days as one of the top-producing loan officers in the DC Metro area to opening and leading ACM’s Coastal Virginia (Hampton Roads) market, my focus has always been the same: building trust, simplifying the process, and delivering results. I started my journey in the mortgage industry with the same curiosity and determination I still carry today from learning every calculation by hand to understanding every detail of the process from the ground up. That foundation shaped the way I work with my clients, builders, and referral partners, as a trusted mortgage advisor who brings both technical expertise and the human touch needed to guide individuals and families with confidence and care. Over the years, I’ve been honored to be recognized among the Top 1% of Mortgage Originators (Mortgage Executive Magazine, multiple years), named a Scotsman Guide Top Women Originator, and earned consistent President’s Club status at ACM and prior companies. Today, I manage a $350M+ group spanning Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, while continuing to serve clients in both Coastal Virginia and the DC region. I love helping loan officers grow their careers while expanding ACM’s presence across new markets. I believe in fostering a supportive, collaborative environment where both clients and my team know they have someone in their corner. When I’m not helping my clients find their way home, you’ll find me giving back to my community through organizations like the Young Men’s Service League, King’s Daughters and Sons, and the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival. At home, I’m a proud wife to Ryan and mom to two amazing teenage boys, both of which are standout athletes who keep me busy as a dedicated lacrosse mom. Whether serving first-time buyers, families, or business partners, my mission is always the same.
