Greater Texas Capital Corporation

Greater Texas Capital Corporation A Certified Development Corporation helping small businesses secure financing of any size through our various programs. We find solutions.

We work with the Small Business Administration (SBA) and other lending partners to provide loans to small businesses requiring real estate and equipment financing with long-term, fixed-rates throughout Texas. GTCC looks for ways to get projects done. We help navigate potential red-tape roadblocks to find a smooth path for our clients. Our superb track record of funding projects that are sometimes

more challenging arises from our deep knowledge of regulations and procedures and our close relationships with government agencies and lenders. By combining the SBA 504 loan with companion commercial loans, we feel that this is the best option for small business to finance their real estate or equipment needs.

Meet Closing Manager, Rhonda Goldthorn! 🌟

Rhonda has been with GTCC for an impressive 24 years! You may be surprised to learn that Rhonda also has 12 years of experience in Law Enforcement. And yes, she keeps our office in line.

Though she has served in a few different roles during her tenure with GTCC, Rhonda is enjoying her current role for many reasons - but most importantly, getting to share in the excitement with borrowers as we get their loan over the finish line!

Outside of the office, Rhonda enjoys spending time with family and friends, and especially enjoys being outdoors - on the lake, at the beach, relaxing by the fire - you name it!

Rhonda is a true asset to our team, and we're grateful for her expertise and partnership!

We had a great time supporting Next Step Community Solutions at their ‘Battle of the Brains’ Trivia Luncheon today! Team members (from GTCC and Lending Avenue) and friends gathered to represent at the event and attempted to show off their vast knowledge. Though we did not come home with a win, we had a great time supporting a wonderful cause.

💡A little trivia for you: What is a group of owls called? (No cheating!) Answer will be posted in the comments!

Our team had a great time in San Antonio at the Mid-America Lenders Conference last week. We value the opportunity to connect with lending partners who share our commitment to helping small businesses grow through access to capital. At GTCC, we’re always learning and looking for ways to better support our bank partners and the borrowers we serve.

Thank you to everyone who ‘popped’ by our booth! We were glad support a local small business, Alamo City Popcorn Company, and share their delicious product with attendees!

Something big is happening in Kyle, Texas - an old favorite is returning and we're so excited to be a part of it! 🎉 A Little Shady broke ground last October with plans of opening this summer! Our Austin-based Regional Manager, Rebecca Williams, has had the pleasure of working alongside ownership and our bank partners to see this project come to fruition.

Here's what Rusty Zagst, Owner of A Little Shady, had to say about his experience working with our team:

We’re incredibly grateful to Rebecca and the team at Greater Texas Capital for their outstanding support in helping us secure SBA approval for our A Little Shady project. From day one, Rebecca brought professionalism, expertise, and a true ‘let’s make this happen’ attitude to what was a pretty challenging process.

Her knowledge of SBA lending and her determination to push things across the finish line made all the difference. She was always clear, responsive, and easy to work with, which gave us confidence every step of the way.

If you need someone who can help you navigate the SBA world with skill and genuine care, Rebecca is the person you want in your corner. We highly recommend her and Greater Texas Capital. Thanks, Rebecca, for helping make this project a reality!
