The IRS released the applicable interest rates for transactions in November 2026.

The annual compounding rates are:
•Short-term: 4.67%
•Mid-term: 5.08%
•Long-term: 5.52%

The Section 7520 rate, used in many estate planning transactions, is 6.20%.
