Members of our Mission Fed Volunteer Collective recently joined the Chicano Federation of San Diego County alongside other volunteers to help get local families ready for the school year.

Together, they assembled over 1,000 backpacks filled with food, diapers, and hygiene kits for over 200 families who attended the Chicano Federation's Back to School Distribution.

We're grateful for opportunities like this where we can jump in and support our partners hands-on in the work they do for our community. ❤️ 🔔

Our Business Development team and Escondido Auto Parkway branch had a great time joining Escondido Union School District staff for their Back to School Kickoff!

It was a great opportunity to connect as they get ready for another school year.

Mission Fed was honored by County Supervisor Joel Anderson's office with a special recognition in celebration of National Financial Awareness Day, acknowledging our ongoing commitment to improving financial well-being and expanding access to quality financial services throughout the community.

Supervisor Anderson represents District 2, which includes our Corporate Headquarters and seven branch locations: Carmel Mountain, El Cajon, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, San Carlos, Santee, and Scripps Ranch. During the recognition ceremony, certificates were presented for each of these locations in appreciation of their positive impact on the communities they serve.

Mission Fed recently joined City Heights Community Development Corporation for Beautify the Block, an event that brought teams of volunteers together to take part in projects designed to refresh and care for the City Heights neighborhood.

Our Mission Fed Volunteer Collective rolled up their sleeves at Rosa's Ice Cream, where the team spent the morning giving the exterior a refreshed coat of paint. Getting to know the owner made the experience even more meaningful.
