The last few days of summer are here, and what a summer it has been! ☀️

A heartfelt thank you to our members, partners, and staff for making this a season the IIAV team will never forget.

We kicked things off with our Annual Convention & Tradeshow, bringing together more than 400 insurance professionals from across Virginia. And, of course, who could forget the legendary Mullet Maui making an appearance and stealing the spotlight?

This summer also marked an important chapter in IIAV's history as we celebrated the retirement of Bob Bradshaw after 25 years of dedicated leadership and service. It was inspiring to see so many familiar faces come together to honor his incredible impact. At the same time, we welcomed Carter Lyons as IIAV's new CEO & President, and we're excited for what lies ahead.

We wrapped up the season with a splash, partnering with YRP - Young Risk Professionals of Richmond to host our Young Agents Charity Event benefiting Surfers Healing Virginia Beach. More than 60 young insurance professionals joined us, helping raise $565 for a truly meaningful cause.

From professional development and networking to celebrations and giving back, this summer was one to remember.
