Today, we want to give a special shout out to our founder, John Fortman — a man who has built more than just an insurance agency. He’s built relationships, trust, and a culture of caring that continues to shape Fortman Insurance every day.

John’s dedication to the people he insures, his incredible staff and team in Ottawa and Bluffton, and his community has always been at the heart of what makes Fortman Insurance special.

But beyond the office, John is also a devoted husband to Cathy, a proud father, and a loving grandfather who absolutely adores his children and grandchildren. ❤️
