Meet the Team: Ashton Luttfring 🌟

While many of you may already know her, we wanted to officially introduce Ashton Luttfring!

A graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School, Ashton went on to earn her degree in Marketing from Bowling Green State University. She joined Everett Schmenk Insurance in September 2025 and has been in the insurance industry for almost 2 years. She writes Property & Casualty insurance and provides customer service support, and she is excited to expand her role as a Life Insurance Agent and help more clients protect their families and futures.

Ashton and her husband, Joey, live in Glandorf with their miniature dachshund, Stretch. They are also excitedly expecting their first child this fall!

Outside of work, Ashton enjoys spending time with family and friends and reading on her Kindle. If anyone has any good thriller book recommendations, she’ll gladly take them!

Congratulations to our 2025-2026 Scholarship Winner, Jacob Recker of Ottawa! 🎓

Throughout his homeschooling years, Jacob stayed very involved in the community through volunteer work with SPPS Parish and other local programs. He was also a member of Pandora-Gilboa High School's nationally ranked Quiz Bowl team! This fall, Jacob plans to attend Franciscan University of Steubenville to major in Philosophy.

As part of our 93rd Anniversary celebration, Everett Schmenk Insurance, Erhart-Stechschulte Insurance, and Grove Insurance Services are proud to award Jacob with a $1,000 scholarship in honor of our founder, Everett Schmenk.

We wish Jacob the best of luck in this exciting next chapter!

🎓 Celebrating 93 Years by Investing in Our Future 🎓

In celebration of our 93rd Anniversary, Everett Schmenk Insurance Agency, along with Erhart-Stechschulte Insurance Agency and Grove Insurance Services, is proud to honor our founder, Everett Schmenk, by establishing a $1,000 Anniversary Scholarship for the 2025-2026 school year. We have proudly offered scholarship since 2009.

Education has always been important to our agencies, and this scholarship is our way of promoting and honoring excellence among local students. The award will be based on scholastic achievement, school involvement, leadership, ambition, and citizenship.

📍 Who can apply?
Putnam County students planning to continue their education at an accredited post-secondary institution.

📝 How to apply:
Students can apply by contacting their school guidance counselor or by finding the scholarship on their school’s scholarship page. Applications are due by April 15, 2026.
