The Fahey Bank was founded in 1865, the year the Civil War ended, by Timothy Fahey. He had a general store and added a bank, by painting “The Bank of Ireland” on the wall safe in the store. Tim Fahey built his bank by investing in all who were striving for better. He invested in the farmers in the area by letting them wait until harvest time to pay for the goods from his store. When they came in a

fter harvest to pay him back, they often left their extra funds on deposit with his bank. Today, more than a century and a half later, Fahey Bank continues to serve those who strive for better. Fahey FastPay delivers your pay up to two days sooner than at other banks. Our mobile app is like a full service branch wherever you are, with automatic savings, customized alerts, mobile deposit, and so much more. Fahey eSign lets you sign documents wherever you are and whenever is best for you, 24/7/365, not like other banks that make you go to their branch during their "banker's hours." The Fahey Bank Athlete of the Month program recognizes the hard work and dedication of the many high school students throughout Marion County who strive every day to succeed - not only in athletics, but in life. During the four decades that Fahey has been presenting the award, out of the tens of thousands of students who have been eligible, about seven hundred have earned the award. And out of those seven hundred winners, eight special athletes have been able to achieve the award all four years and become a "Fahey-Four." In 1865 Tim Fahey’s bank started investing in all those who strove for better.

Today, Team Fahey will join thousands of riders at Pelotonia, united by one goal: funding life-saving cancer research.

This year, our team has raised more than $30,000, but behind that number are stories of survival, loss, hope, and determination. Cancer has touched the lives of many of our employees and their families.

Some ride as survivors. Some ride in honor of loved ones. Others ride because they believe in a future without cancer. We asked members of Team Fahey to share their personal reasons for riding and why Pelotonia means so much to them.

Read their inspiring stories here: https://brev.is/kk1a4

Thank you to everyone who has supported Team Fahey. Your generosity is helping advance research, improve outcomes, and bring hope to families facing cancer.

If you'd like to support our ride, there's still time: https://brev.is/9Cilu
