🚨SCAM ALERT🚨There is an A.I. generated YouTube video circulating online that falsely claims a new federal program provides tax relief for older homeowners.

❎ Unfortunately, this is false information. Residents are encouraged to rely on official government sources for all information related to tax relief programs and should never pay for government forms or provide personal information through unofficial websites.

✅ Ohio does offer real property tax relief through the Homestead Exemption for qualifying homeowners, including many seniors, people with disabilities, qualifying disabled veterans, and certain surviving spouses. Eligible Homestead recipients may also receive a one-time, state-funded property tax reduction in 2027 under House Bill 479. Current Homestead recipients do not need to submit a separate application for this specific benefit.

An important local resource for Marion County residents. If you or someone you know may benefit from a wheelchair ramp this spring, please review and share.

We will be constructing wheelchair ramps again starting this spring. If you live within the borders of Marion County, own your home, are physically and financially challenged and need a wheelchair ramp, we may be able to help.

There is absolutely no charge to those who qualify.

Simply message us with your name and address and we will mail a wheelchair ramp application to you. The applications are acted upon in the order we receive them so get the application completed and back to us ASAP.

We typically start construction in April (weather permitting) and continue until we are out of funds or the weather turns cold.

📢 Medicare Annual Enrollment is Almost Here!

Starting this week, Medicare beneficiaries will begin receiving their Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) in the mail. This notice is sent by your Medicare Advantage or Part D prescription drug plan provider.

Be sure to review the changes to your coverage. If they don’t match your medical or prescription needs for 2026, it may be time to consider a new plan.

🗓️ Medicare Annual Enrollment runs from October 15 through December 7.
