🏡💡 Mortgage Tip: Not every “money-saving” strategy is right for everyone!

Bi-weekly payments can be a great way to make extra progress toward paying down your mortgage because you’re making 26 half-payments per year, which equals 13 full monthly payments instead of 12. 📅💰

But before switching your payment schedule, make sure you understand how your lender applies bi-weekly payments and whether there are any fees or restrictions.

And when it comes to interest-only or adjustable-rate mortgages, the lowest initial payment doesn’t always mean the lowest long-term cost. 📈⚠️

When someone leaves this world, you start thinking about their life and impact. I've never posted about the passing of a celebrity and especially not on my mortgage page. But she was never just a celebrity or a country singer. She is THE example of what it means to be a good human. Using her success and influence to make life better for other people. She has donated millions of dollars. MILLIONS. She has stood up for herself and for others. She has used her voice when it mattered. She has given opportunities to people who needed them.
