Florals for spring? How groundbreaking. 🌸

There is nothing quite like being in a room full of business women who genuinely want to see each other succeed.

The GAWN May silent auction was months in the making, with all proceeds going to the Displaced Homemakers Program. The DHP has helped more than 5,000 women in Gainesville get back into the workforce through free education, resume help, and career coaching.

So grateful for this group of women!

"Oh, I'm good — I have full coverage."

I can't tell you how many times I hear that.

Full coverage actually just means two specific coverages on your auto policy: comprehensive and collision. It's important to have them, but they are just one piece of the policy.

Uninsured motorist, medical payments, and rental reimbursement are separate line items. Most people assume they have all of these, and it's not until after an accident, when they go to get a rental car, that they realize they're not covered for it.

Next time you talk to your insurance agent, make sure you are truly fully covered, not just covered for "full coverage."

Florida auto insurance rates dropped an average of 8% this year, but most people haven't heard.

If you've been with the same carrier for a few years and haven't compared rates, now is the time. Major carriers across the state have filed decreases, and as an independent agency, we can quote across multiple carriers at once so you don't have to spend your afternoon calling six different companies.

Five years in Gainesville is worth celebrating.

We had a great time at Southwestern Real Estate's 5-year anniversary event back in March, and got to see their beautiful new office at San Felasco Tech City.

Meredith talked about how their philosophy is that every single client comes through word of mouth. Looking out across the crowd that had gathered, you could see five years of community and connections.

Standing under this arch is one of my favorite memories.

Attending the University of Florida changed my life. I met friends who became family, found a job that became a career, and now, almost ten years later, I am so grateful to be back in Gainesville.
