Whether you’re Team Boo Hoo or Team Woo Hoo, t’s time for BACK TO SCHOOL! We are super excited to share that our 9th annual Top Teachers Contest has concluded. Our team voted and although it was really tough with so many great candidates, the results are in… this year’s winners are Kelly Wynns and Jamie Benoit! We are honored to CLEAR THEIR CART of Amazon wish list items for their classroom up to $250 each! We are so grateful for all these teachers, and many others, do for their students and our community. We hope everyone has an amazing, safe, and memorable school year!

REMINDER: ANNUAL TEACHER “CLEAR THE CART” GIVEAWAY ENDS SOON!

Our 9th annual Top Teachers contest is still running so get your nominations in now! We are looking for the BEST teachers in Alachua County and surrounding areas. We want to gift TWO of them with their classroom needs by CLEARING THE CART!

We are accepting nominations until August 4th and will then choose two winners. You can enter yourself if you’d like, or someone you know that’s deserving of this accomplishment. We'd like to know as much as possible about the teacher… what school and grade they teach, how long they’ve taught, their favorite thing about being an educator, and a link to their Amazon cart/wish list of classroom needs.

ANNUAL TEACHER CONTEST! LET’S CLEAR THE CART!

We are excited to announce that we are holding our 9th annual Top Teachers contest and we need your help! We are looking for the BEST teachers in Alachua County and surrounding areas.

For the past 8 years, our team has voted on the top 2 winners and we gifted each of them with a $250 Visa gift card to buy whatever they needed for their classroom. This year, we’re mixing it up! We want to CLEAR THEIR AMAZON CART up to a $250 value!

We are accepting nominations starting TODAY through August 4th and will then choose two winners. You can enter yourself if you’d like, or someone you know that’s deserving of this accomplishment. We'd like to know as much as possible about the teacher… what school and grade they teach, how long they’ve taught, their favorite thing about being an educator, and a link to their Amazon cart (wishlist) of classroom needs so if they win, we can clear it! *Please be sure the correct shipping address is listed when the wishlist is created*

We're so proud of Kacey Anderson for the time she gives back as chair of the GACAR Giving Circle. Today, that giving circle awarded $75,000 to Bright Community Trust to help make homeownership more attainable for first-time buyers right here in Alachua County.
