I come from a large family, four brothers and a sister. On October 7th, 1990 I met my husband, a Marine. Jim and I had our first big date at the Marine Corp Ball. He looked so handsome in his uniform! Less than 10 months later we were married. That was 25 years ago, four kids, Brittany, Zachary, Josh & Noah, one son-in-law, Henry and one grandson, Henry, V later.
12 years ago in a PTO meeting I meet Manya Rayner. She and I became friends when she convinced me to run for the PTO board. She also brought me into her company, Churchill Mortgage and taught me the mortgage business. 12 years later I’m still serving on PTO boards, this year as President at BPHS, and we remain life-long friends. January of 2014 I decided it was time to branch out on my own, to start a company that I could build for my family. As a result, America’s Choice Mortgage was born on May 1, 2014. We are family owned and operated, Brittany is my senior processor and Zach is on his way to becoming an originator. Amanda Ulmer handles all the social media and websites, is my personal assistant and on her way to becoming a member of the family! Our mission is simple, to provide the best program and services to our client, to go above and beyond in making this process of buying a home as stress free and positive as possible. My husband was medically discharged from the Marine Corp when he broke his back. We were a young couple with 2 small children at the time and looking to purchase our first home. The experience was a nightmare. Our agent convinced us to pay considerably more for the home than was necessary, and our lender charged us over 5 points – that’s 5%, money we definitely didn’t have! My personal goal is to always put the needs of my client above my own and in so doing, you will always be my priority! I have a special place in my heart for those who serve, both here and abroad. Our family has a long history of service through the military, police, firemen, teachers and nurses and, in my own small way, I want to give back by serving you. I am the proud wife of a Marine, I know the sacrifices of those who serve and welcome the opportunity to be of service to you!
