When you're figuring out how much home fits your budget, it helps to look past just the purchase price. Your monthly mortgage payment is typically broken down into four core parts.

Here is exactly what goes into it:

✔️ Principal: The actual loan balance you are paying back.

✔️ Interest: The cost of borrowing the money from the lender.

New listings have nearly doubled in just three months. This isn’t just a typical spring uptick. March saw a 21% jump from February, the largest seasonal spike since 2017.
