Molina Healthcare of Ohio was proud to participate in the Ohio Job and Family Services Directors Association 2026 Annual Training Conference, themed “Resilience".

This annual event brought together more than 1,000 professionals from job and family services agencies and community organizations across Ohio for two days of collaboration, networking and learning. Attendees participated in keynote presentations, breakout sessions and trainings focused on workforce development, public assistance, Medicaid and strengthening support systems for Ohio communities.

We enjoyed connecting with attendees, sharing resources and adding a little fun with prize raffles throughout the event. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with us!

Knowing what to do in a choking emergency can save a life. On Heimlich Maneuver Day, take a moment to learn the difference between helping an infant and helping older children or adults.

For babies under 1 year: Use a combination of back blows and chest thrusts — not abdominal thrusts (the Heimlich maneuver).

For children over 1 and adults: Use abdominal thrusts (the Heimlich maneuver) if they are choking and unable to breathe or speak.

Call 911 if the person becomes unconscious or if the object doesn’t come out.

A few minutes of learning today could make all the difference tomorrow.

We had a great time earlier this month hosting our Molina Community-Based Organization Appreciation Event at Historic Crew Stadium while cheering on the Columbus Aviators!

Community partners joined us in the suite for great food, meaningful conversations, and an opportunity to strengthen relationships that help drive healthier communities across Ohio. Events like these give us time to connect, share ideas, and continue building partnerships that create lasting impact.

A special thank you to our partners who joined us, including The African American Male Wellness Agency, Brightview Health, Thrive to 5 CD4AP, WOSU Public Media, Elevated Health, Columbus Public Health, Mid-Ohio Food Collective and Urban Family Development Center.

And to make the night even better, the Columbus Aviators secured an exciting 36–29 victory!

We’re grateful for the organizations and leaders who partner with us every day to support communities across Ohio, and we look forward to continuing this work together.

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), high blood pressure affects nearly 119.9 million adults in the United States.

High blood pressure happens when your blood pushes too hard against your artery walls. It may not cause any obvious symptoms but, if left untreated, it can cause big problems like heart disease, stroke and kidney issues.

If you have concerns about your blood pressure, seek help from your doctor. They can give you advice and treatment options to meet your needs.
