COVID-19 Update Apex Title Agency, LTD.

Good Day Everyone! We here at Apex Title Agency, Ltd. Hope you are healthy and want you to know we are open and are doing everything to make your closing as safe and as hands free as humanly possible.

Many of you may not know, Closings CANNOT be electronically signed. A Notary has to witness all signatures from all parties on the documents. Notaries are also required to have a copy of a Vaild, Goverment issued ID with a picture. The most common forms of these are State Issued Driver's Licenses, US Passports, Concealed Carry Cards and Military IDs. If you are in doubt please feel free to call us and ask if you have the correct ID. 614-846-7890 or [email protected]

We have in place many ways to keep contact to a minimum.

If you are closing at our office, please know all surfaces that you will touch are being wiped down with sanitizing wipes/clothes and spray disinfectant before and after each closing. This includes the Door handle to enter our office, chairs and tables. You will be asked to take a pen from the pen cup that has not been used or touched by any other person and ask that you keep that pen. We are not returning ANY pens to the pen cup until this pandemic is over. Yes, we have MANY Pens!

If we are coming to you, We are using common sense and maintaining social distancing as best as possible. We will ask for you to place your ID in front of us and we will take a picture. In that way we will not touch your ID WE will offer you a BLUE pen from a bag that has pens that no one else has touched. Again you will keep that pen and we will not reuse any pens from any person, including the Notary who will have their own pen at all times on his/her person.
YOU may also have your own BLUE pen available to use, but please remember it must be BLUE. We will set the package in front of you and set aside a copy package. At that time we will explain each document and have you turn the pages and return to the Notary until the process is complete. WE ARE ALL VERY GOOD AT READING UPSIDE DOWN AND FROM A DISTANCE.

IF you have additional special needs or issues please let us know. WE can also have you set up a card table in your garage and allow you to take the package from our vehicle hood. We can watch from the edge of the garage while you sign the package at the distance you feel most comfortable with. Remember, we must be able to see all parties sign the docs and be able to answer any questions you might have regarding the documentation. You can also make copies of your ID's and place them back in the package or they can be scanned and sent to us. Just let the Notary know your preference.

WE ARE VERY HAPPY TO BE AN ESSENTIAL BUSINESS AND WILL DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO MAKE YOU FEEL SAFE AND COMFORTABLE TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY.
