If you’re considering buying a house this year, chances are you’ve probably Googled or used ChatGPT to figure out how much house you can afford.

What it might not tell you is the actual breakdown of how your payment is calculated.

One of the biggest factors I see forgotten about are the future estimates of property taxes after you become a homeowner and your house gets reassessed.

As a family of 6 and someone who lives by budgets, it’s crucial you know your estimated future payments so there’s no unexpected surprises or uncomfortable payments.
