📣We are pleased and very excited to announce that we have teamed up with the Champagne Agency, who have been protecting clients across the state of Michigan for over 20 years❤️ .

What does this mean for you, the client? It means, bigger is better💯❗️ We will be going from a staff of 4 to a team of 20, with a dedicated staff for service and claims.

You will continue to deal with the same agent you’ve always had, John, Joe, or Larry 🙋‍♂️ for renewal reviews and of course, if you need a new policy, want to refer a friend, or just want someone to talk to 😃.

There will be no changes in your policies or billing, the only difference will be the name of the agency on your insurance documents AND you can continue to use the same phone numbers and email addresses that you’ve always used to contact us, those won’t change either👍.

The merger will be effective on 07/18/2023 and the Champagne Agency will be the controlling partner, which means the A. Young Insurance Agency name will now go by Champagne Agency. We will be closing the physical office location at 1400 Scott Lk Rd Ste AA, Waterford, MI effective 7/30/2023. John, Joe, and Larry will be working remotely from home.

The past 9 years have been a great honor doing business as A. Young Insurance Agency and now it’s time to take things to the Champagne Agency level of excellence that we know all of our clients deserve.

Please join us in congratulating and thanking our newest team of community volunteers!

Wednesday, April 21, 2023 night sixteen community volunteers graduated from our basic Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT) academy.

These volunteers completed 30 hours of federally mandated in-person training, and 10 hours of nationally recognized on-line disaster training, to become certified CERT members.

CERT members will be deployed to assist Waterford Police and Fire Departments by handling specific tasks, thereby allowing emergency responders to be available for response to active emergency situations.

The Waterford Police and Fire Departments have enjoyed great support from the community for many years and these sixteen volunteers are another demonstration of that support. They are all excited to get started and more than willing to give their time to help ensure our community is a safe place to live, work, and visit.
