Yesterday's CPI report was mostly in line with expectations. The 10-year Treasury and mortgage-backed securities saw very little net movement, and mortgage rates ended the day essentially unchanged.

The softer Core CPI reading helped prevent rates from moving higher, but inflation remains elevated enough that the market isn't ready to price in significant rate relief just yet.
