Michael Lints’ words struck a chord at IT Park Uzbekistan:
“Once you have taken the lead in new markets, the real opportunity is getting to know founders very early. It’s about understanding where they are starting, the risks they are taking, and how we as managers can add value as they build their businesses. For Central Asian startups looking to expand, process management and market knowledge are key, and we must learn ourselves in order to guide them effectively.
When I go back home, the first question people ask is always: which founders did you meet, and how good are they? For us as VCs, it’s all about meeting founders, spending time in the ecosystem, and identifying where we can support them to grow internationally.”
