With her family, Ngee Wei has moved house nine times in total because of her mother's swift and sharp property investment ideas. Coming from a humble background, Ngee Wei's mother was a bus driver and her father was a teacher. But because they invested early in property, their foresight has led them to a comfortable life. They bought a landed property at Siglap for $500,000 and flipped it twice. Currently, they own a condominium unit and another landed property which they bought 12 years ago at $1.4 million and is now worth $3.5 million. Personally, Ngee Wei invested with a friend on a 99-year private property and rented out for three years before decoupling. She then invested in another property with another friend for a new launch in 2020 with a price that you cannot find on the market anymore. With all her experience managing her personal and family's property assets, Ngee Wei is very familiar with how everything works.
