Kylie has been part of the Plymouth Mortgage Hub family since the beginning of
2021. Before that, she worked in administrative roles in book distribution and retail,
building up her amazing organizational skills. Honestly, every office needs a “Kylie”—things just wouldn’t run as smoothly without her!

She’s the go-to person for managing compliance, making sure mortgage offers and
protection policies are sorted quickly, and keeping cases on track from start to
finish. Kylie is always there to support clients through the process and works closely with solicitors to keep everything moving along nicely.

Kylie lives in Plymouth with her partner and their cat, Stig. She’s a big fan of Clubbercise classes and has a soft spot for anything from the 90s. Around the office, she’s known as “The Oracle of Music” because of her incredible music knowledge—it definitely comes in handy during quizzes!

I’m starting a new job, can I get a mortgage⁉️

Every mortgage lender will look at this differently. Yes it is possible to get a mortgage if you are starting a new job!

In this situation, a signed job contract and confirmed start date will be required in
writing from your new employer. A lot of the time we won’t even need your first payslip!

We will still ask for your employment history but will be able to base your affordability on your new job income.

Your new employment should be a permanent role, if it is a temporary position or a fixed term contract then other criteria would apply so it is important for you to discuss this with your advisor.
