💼 The Autumn budget came out yesterday, and to be honest there was very little change to the property market. But here is what was announced:

🏡 ‘First Home’ Scheme to be relaunched in 2027
- 2.5% deposit - 20% Government equity loan - 77.5% mortgage
- Only available on new build properties

🏡 Stamp duty thresholds to remain the same

🏡 New First time buyer ISA to be launched which will replace the current Lifetime ISA (LISA)
- Details to be released

🏡 Tax free savings limit held at £20,000 per year

🏡 2% tax increase on rental income - Tax rates starting at 24%
- This applies to landlords owning properties in their own name
- This is another blow for landlords which may force more landlords out of the market

🏡 Extra 3% tax on banks
- This cost may be passed onto customers in the form of rising interest rates on mortgages and other lending products and cut interest rates on savings accounts

Other than these minor changes, the property market continues as it has.
