PRESS RELEASE: Park Insurance Launches New Insurance Broker Apprenticeship for Bristol students

Park Insurance, a specialist insurance company based in Bristol, UK, is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the company as insurance broker apprentices.

An insurance broker apprenticeship with Park Insurance is the first step on an exciting career journey in the insurance sector.

The apprenticeship provides real responsibility from day one, contributing to key business activities and projects while studying for a nationally recognised level-3 qualification. The role's day-to-day responsibilities are vital to the success of the business, and include:

● Advising customers on what to do in the event of a loss or damage.
● Assessing and reviewing customer claims.
● Broking different policies for new and existing clients.
● Identifying cross-selling opportunities to fill any gaps in client coverage.
● Building positive working relationships with the company's client base.

All apprentice insurance brokers will work in Bristol alongside a welcoming, friendly, highly driven team providing an industry-leading service. Several Park Insurance staff have worked for the company for over a decade, and apprentices can expect their full support throughout their time with the company.

The insurance broker apprenticeship is open to recent school leavers and those with work experience in other areas looking to move their career in a new direction. Park Insurance is especially looking for individuals who can demonstrate relevant transferable skills from previous employment and candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit.

In addition to a strong desire to learn the insurance business and good communication skills, candidates must also meet the following criteria:

● No more than two years of work experience in broking, claims, or underwriting.
● GCSE maths and English to grade C or four.
● UK resident for three years.
● Not currently in full-time education.

The insurance broker apprenticeship can open doors to many different careers within insurance, including underwriting, loss adjusting, reinsurance and account management.

Just spotted this and it’s all so true. Yet the small shop owner would be there to serve you no self check outs. I read earlier today that one major direct motor insurer has lost thousands of customers. So I’m all for and support your local business.

We are pleased to say that Ace Chandler has joined us at Park.

Ace is the son of Alan Chandler one of the insurance industry’s top trainers. Today Alan did a training session with both Ace and my grandson Caleb who has one more year at school. Both lads enjoyed the session. With Alan passing great comments on both.
